Meagan Monique Good was born on the 8th, 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle. Her mother was her manager during her teens and her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. Her family consisted of three brothers in Canyon Country California, and made her debut in acting when she was four. Early in her career, she performed as an actor on TV shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. She was 13 when she appeared in her first film Friday. She first became famous in 1997 with her performance as Cisely batiste (a troubled teenage girl) on Eve's Bayou, for which she received two nominations, and received her N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good was first seen in minor roles in film and TV for a few years before moving into more mature roles at the start of the 2000s. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter, she played Nina. It ran from 1998 until 2001. She also landed minor roles in the films House Party Down to the show from 1998 to 2001. Minute as well as 3 Strikes.
